TMSA's 7th graders have been assigned a project in Social Studies where they will work with a partner to create a good or service to sell to their classmates throughout the school; in order to broaden their understanding of economic concepts. Students are given time in class to plan and prepare for this project.

Parents are NOT expected to incur any cost or inconvenience for this project. Students should be coming up with an idea that they can make themselves using supplies they already have at home or can obtain at school. Their goal is to make the largest profit possible. So, they should spend the least amount of money possible in order to maximize profits!

The culmination of the project will be a simulation of a marketplace where they will sell their items to their peers.

TMSA students are encouraged to shop at the market. Please bring cash, preferably small bills ($1, $5 and coins) Please come out and support the students!
