Mrs. Alexis McDaniels

Greetings TMSA families! 

Mrs. Alexis McDaniels returns to The Main Street Academy after previously serving as a paraprofessional.  The 2023-24 school year is her first taking on 4th grade ELA and Social Studies. She previously taught Kindergarten and 1st Grade.  

Mrs. McDaniels obtained a bachelor's in journalism from Georgia State University, a Master of Science in Sports Administration from Western Kentucky University, and an MAT in Elementary Education from Georgia Southern University. Mrs. McDaniels is certified to teach Elementary and ESOL (K-12). Teaching writing to students of all ages is one of her biggest passions! 

When Mrs. McDaniels is not at school, she enjoys traveling (mainly to Disney), crafting, watching and attending basketball games. She is a proud wife, mother of 2 children, and a HUGE Disney fan.
