Georgia Standards of Excellence

TMSA follows the Georgia Standards of Excellence (GSE) to support the instructional and learning progress of our scholars. The GSE sets clear expectations for instruction, assessment, and student learning outcomes. These Georgia state standards further define the level of achievement that must be demonstrated as students progress through each grade level and course. The Georgia performance standards isolate and identify the skills needed to use the knowledge and skills to problem-solve, reason, communicate, and make connections with other information. The GSE also serves as a guide for teachers to further assess student learning and progress.
