Greetings and Welcome to the Hive!

Mrs. Henderson is proud to serve as your scholars Kindergarten teacher for the 2023-2024 school year, here at The Main Street Academy. This will be Mrs. Henderson’s second year teaching at The Main Street Academy, but with 14 yrs. of educational experience, she is eager to bring her teaching practices to Main Street. Mrs. Henderson graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education. Her belief is understanding that education begins within the home environment which connects, to the learning environment. With full communication between both the home and learning environment, Mrs. Henderson believes that ALL scholars are capable of learning through fully maximizing their learning potential. The Hive, is a place where scholars come to explore, develop, and most of all have fun. There is an open-door policy, where parents and or guardians can communicate with Mrs. Henderson.
