Dr. Cherry's Biography
Dr. Cherry is a first grade teacher at The Main Street Academy. This is her second year at The Main Street Academy. She has 15 years of experience in education, inclusive of 1st, 3rd, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th grades, as well as new teachers. Dr. Cherry has worked in the Atlanta Public School System, Fulton County Schools, and Alabama. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia and Mercer University. Dr. Cherry has a Biology Pre-Medicine B.S., Master's in Science Education, Specialist in Teacher Leadership, and PhD in Curriculum and Instruction. Dr. Cherry has the following educational certifications: elementary education, secondary science, earth /space science, and reading endorsement. She is passionate about education, health, and yoga.
