7th Grade Math
Mr. Price is a native of Chicago, IL. He's been a residence of the Atlanta area for the past 23 years. This is his fourth year here at The Main Street Academy, but his 21st year of teaching. Prior to teaching he spent 13 years in the Civil Engineering field as a CAD Technician, Survey Technician and a Project Manager with required the use of a lot of Math.
Mr. Price's Math class and Math lessons are presented in a manner to have students feel comfortable learning. Several lessons relate to real world situations that will provide increased understanding and preparation for the future. In his class, mistakes are looked upon as the beginning steps of learning and improvement and no student will feel uncomfortable about making them. His classes will utilize technology, collaboration with peers and one-on-one instruction when needed.
He looks forward to having a MATH-nificent year of learning!
