The Red Ribbon Campaign® is the oldest and largest drug prevention program in the nation, reaching
millions of young people during Red Ribbon Week®, October 23rd - October 31st each year.
 
This year, The Main Street Academy is recognizing Red Ribbon Week® October 26 - 31, 2020 with several  activities and contest for students to take advantage of.

What is Family Table Time? Did you know that teens who eat dinner with their families are less likely to use drugs and alcohol? Family Table Time is an innovative, all-in-one, 52-week family activity kit that establishes lifelong healthy habits, rituals, and traditions. Contest

Red Ribbon Week Contests
October 26th – October 30th
Submit your work for a chance to win!

 
 
1st place will receive a prize! Some students will be featured on TMSA’s official social media channels and/or this Red Ribbon Week web page. 

K-2 Grades:  Bookmark contest - Submit a bookmark design showing your creativity! The design should
be related to Drug Awareness or the Red Ribbon Week Theme Be Happy. Be Brave. Be Drug Free.

3rd Grade: Drawing Contest - Submit a drawing showing your creativity! The drawing should be related to
Drug Awareness or the Red Ribbon Week Theme Be Happy. Be Brave. Be Drug Free.

4th Grade: Poetry Contest - Submit a poem showing your creativity! The poem should be a minimum of 5
lines and no more than 10. The poem should be related to Drug Awareness or the Red Ribbon Week
Theme Be Happy. Be Brave. Be Drug Free.

5th Grade: Essay Contest - Submit an essay showing your creativity! The essay should be 1-2 pages. The
essay should be related to Drug Awareness or the Red Ribbon Week Theme Be Happy. Be Brave. Be
Drug Free.

6th - 8th Grades:  Video Contest* - Submit a video showing your creativity! The video should be 30-60
seconds and related to Drug Awareness or the Red Ribbon Week Theme Be Happy. Be Brave. Be Drug
Free. *1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes will be awarded for the Video Contest and featured online.
 
All submissions should be sent to howard@tmsa.org by 5:00 P.M. on Friday, October 30, 2020.
