Mask Wearing
- Masks remain optional, but strongly recommended, for TMSA students, employees and visitors
- Masks will be required if local data exceed high levels of community spread or is mandated by a local jurisdiction
Vaccinations
- Vaccinations/boosters for age-eligible students and employees are recommended but not required
Physical (Social) Distancing and Handwashing
- To the extent possible, students and staff should keep a physical (social) distance of 3 - 6 feet between themselves and others
- Staff and students should wash their hands frequently and cover their mouths/noses when coughing and/or sneezing
- Hand sanitizer is available throughout the school
COVID-19 Case Reporting
TMSA students and staff are required to positive COVID-19 test results immediately to Nurse Jackson by completing and submitting the following online form:

- TMSA Staff: COVID-19 Positive Case Reporting Form
TMSA will continue to send notifications to students and/or classes with direct COVID-19 exposure.
Facility Safety
- All visitors must obtain a visitors name tag at the front desk
- Water bottles from home are encouraged; some water fountains may not be available
- Contact-free payment for meals is available using ezschoolpay.com
Enhanced Cleaning
- Custodians routinely clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces
- Safe and effective cleaners are provided to all teachers and staff to use in their work areas

Sickness Isolating/Quarantining Protocol
- Everyone who is sick is expected to stay home; students who become sick at school will be sent home
- Students reporting to the school clinic with an illness will have their temperature checked for fever
- Per Centers for Disease Control and Georgia Department of Public Health guidelines, all persons with a positive COVID-19 diagnosis are required to isolate. Nurse Jackson will provide direct isolation guidelines, if applicable
- Students and staff who have had direct exposure to COVID-19 while attending school/work activities may be exempt from quarantine if they remain symptom-free and do not test positive for COVID-19. Mask-wearing for 10 days following direct exposure is recommended but not required
- If a student or staff member exhibits COVID-19 symptoms, they should not attend school, work, or other school/district-sponsored activities and events
