Mrs. Johnson- Reading Interventionist
Mrs. Johnson is a native of Chattanooga, TN and moved to Georgia to pursue her teaching career. In her free time, Mrs. Johnson enjoys exploring Atlanta with her husband and 2 year old daughter, Emory. She also has a deep love for fitness, health, and spending time in the sun at the pool and beach.
Mrs. Johnson has experience in teaching grades 1-3 with 2nd grade being her favorite grade of all. Mrs. Johnson still has strong relationships with previous second graders that she taught years ago. She really enjoys teaching all stages of reading including, phonological awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. This will be her 5th year at TMSA and year 2 in the EIP department. She's looking forward to improving students' motivation, confidence, and readability.
