Dr. Moore's Fantastic Five

Greetings and Welcome.
My name is Dr. Moore and I am a Fifth Grade Educator, here at The Main Street Academy.
My objective is to help students with their positive social adaptation by promoting positive behaviors and to ensure that students become academically competitive in all content areas.  I wan to create a learning environment that is fun, energetic, positive and authentic. I have high expectations for myself and expect my students to have the same.
A Note to Parents
We are a FAMILY. I want to make sure that together we are ALWAYS making the best decision for your child.  It is important that we keep the lines of communication open and do not always relay on secondary information.
Please visit my page as you will find important and pending assignments, comments, etc.
I can be contacted on ClassDojo.
Warm regards,
Dr. Moore's

I appreciate you spending so much time and effort at the beginning of the school year purchasing all of the supplies for your child in FIFTH grade. Sometimes the supplies don’t quite last all year (especially pencils and erasers), but we also use some unique supplies in my classroom alone. If you would like to know what you can do to help us out with our classroom supplies, then you have come to the right place!

Please do not feel obligated to purchase anything for the class, this is only an option if you have extras at home or see a great deal at the store and want to donate supplies to our class!

Thanks in advance for all of your help and support!

These are things that we could always use or that run out quickly...

PencilsPencils are always needed! We go through these like crazy!

CandyLarge bags of life savers or assorted chocolate! We have a candy machine  (which is ME) and every once in a while it can be a prize that kids can earn.

Large Chart Paper- Chart paper helps us dissect our writing prompts and we display it in the classroom to help as reinforcements.
