On November 7, The Main Street Academy (TMSA) celebrated STEAM Day, a special occasion dedicated to fostering curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning in the areas of science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. Throughout the day, students engaged in a variety of activities designed to spark their imaginations and encourage hands-on exploration.
From collaborative projects to interactive challenges, students had the opportunity to experiment, problem-solve, and think critically in ways that connected learning to real-world concepts. The day emphasized teamwork, innovation, and the joy of discovering how STEAM principles influence the world around us.
Teachers and staff across all grade levels supported students in these activities, guiding them as they explored new ideas and approached challenges with creativity and enthusiasm. Scholars were provided with opportunities for reflection and discussion, allowing them to share what they learned and how they could apply it beyond the classroom. Students visited Sparkles Family Fun Center to learn how STEAM relates to skating with the focus on force, while examining push, pull, gravity, and friction.
TMSA extends gratitude and appreciation to all staff and volunteers who helped make STEAM Day a memorable and inspiring experience for students.
